The Manor House in Lichfield Street was originally built in the 16^th century and later updated with a new facade in the late 18^th century.Thomas Guy is thought to have lived here as a boy.

During the late 1800's the house was occupied by Dr Joy who was a surgeon.The house is now in use as commercial premises.
